Broad based experience


My experience in sales, marketing and general management is broad based with a in-depth understanding of grocery, specialist, independent and digital distribution channels, thanks to a number of exciting roles over the years, in both blue-chip and highly entrepreneurial environments, based in the U.K, France and Germany.

 

It has encompassed the management of the overall business, global, pan-European, German and U.K sales teams, major national and international accounts along with global brand, product development and operational marketing. It has involved leading teams to renegotiate trading terms with the whole European customer base in one year, the rekindling of the Dunlop and Lagostina brands, the creation of the Jamie Oliver by Tefal brand and the development of innovative new products. The businesses have been diverse with turnovers ranging from 4m€ to over 1bn€ and teams of thousands of people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.

 

As a member of the executive and Business Unit boards of  Sharkninja Europe, Kärcher, Dunlop Slazenger International, Oakley and the SEB SBU acquisition board, I was also accountable for all levels of financial performance, strategic direction and cultural change.

EXPERIENCE:

Executive Board: Strategy, general management, acquisition integration, restructuring and cultural change to drive P&L and Balance Sheet ratio improvement.

Sales: Global sales direction. Negotiation at the highest level with the world's key retailers.


Marketing: Global brand and new product development and full mix operational roles.
